On September 14, 2025, I will be challenging myself (and my new knees) in a three mile swim across the Hudson River. The Lighthouse Swim, Inc will begin in Nyack, NY and exit in Sleepy Hollow, NY.
Since having surgery on both of her shins and knees earlier this year, Maddie is ready to celebrate her new lease on legs by tackling an even greater challenge.
The Lighthouse Swim, Inc is a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness of the beautiful Hudson River while supporting our community and raising funds in support of local charities.
This year, The Lighthouse Swim will be donating primarily to Feeding Westchester which is a member of Feeding America, the nationwide nonprofit network of more than 200 food banks serving every state in the United States. Feeding Westchester is proud to be serving nearly 220,000 people each month in our community.
Hunger is here in Westchester County. Children and adults from all walks of life go hungry in every community. Fixed expenses like rent, childcare, and groceries are often the first expenses to be reduced.
