Marine Corps Marathon Semper Fi & America's Fund Team 2024

My husband, Tony, and I have been proud supporters of the Semper Fi & America's Fund since 2006! He is a runner, but since I am not, I've found other ways to fundraise for our favorite charity. (Check out Painting For Patriots on social media, where I sell painted furniture and literary gifts crafted from books headed to recycling. Every penny of net profits goes to the Fund!)

Last year, Tony had a knee injury and Doctor's Orders were to not run. They weren't thrilled when he decided to walk the 10K in order to keep participating. At the suggestion of our orthopedist, I walked with him, mostly to keep an eye on him. He's had his big surgery and done all the PT, so he's back on the marathon course this year, but I'll be walking the 10K again - it's literally much more my speed. As always, we're proud to be supporting Semper Fi & America's Fund as Community Athletes for the 2024 Marine Corps Marathon Semper Fi & America's Fund Team. We can't think of any place we'd rather be on October 27th.
