My family and I will once again be participating in the 2026 Bfit Challenge in honor of my father, Edward Bergdoll, who passed away in October 2022 after a courageous battle with occupational cancer. He dedicated 38 years of his life to serving with the Boston Fire Department, and this challenge is a meaningful way for us to honor his legacy and sacrifice. Beyond his commitment to the job, and his family, my father was a charitable man who found purpose in helping those in need, and lived his life in service to his community.
This year, we are proud to support the 100 Club of Massachusetts, an organization that provides critical assistance to the families of fallen first responders. Their mission is not only essential, but deeply aligned with the values my father embodied: compassion, generosity, and unwavering support for others during their most difficult moments.
We invite you to support this meaningful cause, whether by making a donation or by joining us in this year’s Bfit Challenge. Your generosity will help honor my father’s legacy while making a lasting difference for families in need.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support.
