Here's why I hope you'll donate to my page

Please support my fundraising page - thank you for visiting!

The Project Recover mission to find and bring home America's MIAs is an inspiring mission. Through this mission, we show honor and gratitude to those who gave their lives in service to our country and show support to the families of those fallen, missing-in-action service members who have yet to return home. We show today's veterans and active-duty military that we'd do everything in our power to ensure that they were NEVER left behind. We also aim to inspire our future service members, reminding them that the American people they fight for have deep respect and reverence for their service and sacrifice.

I may never really know what it is like to fight a war, or even train to fight to defend our country and its people; but I do know respect and gratitude for our warriors. How lucky am I, how lucky are we all, that they would fight for us, and if it came down to it, lay down their lives for our country.

September 20th is National POW/MIA Recognition Day, and September 29th is National Gold Star Mothers and Families Day. As I complete my miles in September, I will reflect on the sacrifices of our MIAs and their families. It would mean so much to me and to Project Recover to have your support by donating to my page or participating in the challenge yourself!
