As a 911 dispatcher, I spend my nights (and sometimes my days) answering the call for help—but this time, I’m answering in a different way. I’m stepping off the radio and onto the Bay Bridge to support the Walk the Walk Foundation, an incredible organization helping Maryland kids get the essentials they need—whether it’s diapers, school supplies, or holiday cheer.
I’m running the Bay Bridge Walk/Run for a Cause not just for the view (though let’s be real, it’s iconic), but because I believe every child deserves a strong start. My goal is to raise $911, and every single dollar goes toward meeting real needs in our community.
