Perfect for beginners, or a tune-up before your next big race.
400 yd swim | 6.6 mile bike | 2.2 mile run
Swim: Starting in the water at Millerton, athletes will utilize Millerton Lake Boat Launch. Athletes will swim 400 yards around buoys, back to the boat ramp, exit the water and proceed to the Transition Area.
Bike: Starting at the Transition Area, athletes will make their way north towards the Millerton park entrance, to the turnaround at the top Millerton Lake SRA sign. The bike is out and back with rolling hills. Returning to the transition area.
Run: Run is all asphalt road. Starting at the Transition Area, athletes head north from the parking lot along the street for approximately 1.1 miles towards the Millerton park entrance to the turn around, (at the crosswalk), and back to the finish line.
This relay is to help encourage new triathletes to get a sense of a Triathlon with out running the entire 3 stages. Gather your team and sign up today!! Teams will consist of 2 or 3 athletes.
Runners go the extra distance for a 5k run and get the same great swag, post race meal, and share the madness.
The run starts at 7:15am... before the summer heat sets in.

Water Temperature at the Dock was 82° F, (one degree cooler than Kona)
Forcast Air Temperature on race day will be 66° at 7:30am and 76° by 9:30am
Unlike our April race at Millerton Lake, this time of year, the water has had a chance to warm up. We will be measuring the water temperature the morning before and morning of the race. In order to make decisions acording to USAT Guidelines.
