Leigh Swain Memorial 5K

Race Description/Details:
The 5K will benefit Bath Elementary School's efforts to build a track for the school, students and community use. The track will be named after a beloved teacher and community member that lost her fight with cancer.

Registration Fees/Dates/Categories:
5K - Pre-registration is $15.00 for children 12 years and under, $25.00 for 12 older/adults through February 18 (postmarked by February 18, if mailing); after February 18 children are $20.00; adults $30.00.  Please do not mail entries after February 18; just bring the form to the event. 
You must register by February 1 to be guaranteed a race shirt.

Fun Run - Pre-registration is $5.00 through February 18 (postmarked by February 18, if mailing); after February 18 $10.00.  Please do not mail entries after February 18; just bring the form to the event.  

Packet pick up with be March 11 at Bath Elementary from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Awards/Categories:
Awards to the top 3 male and female overall winners and the top 3 male and female in each age group. Age groups are: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over

Course:
The 5k course begins at Bath Elementary School, 110 S. King St., and continues down Craven and Carteret, through Springdale Village, down Main St. and along the waterfront at Bonner's Point before finishing back at King St. The course is flat and partially shaded.
