Race Description
Our Commit to Community, Supporting Victims of Violence and Abuse takes place in September and includes the Kids Obstacle Course, 5K Walk, 5K Run, and 10K Run. All money raised through this event funds the St. Joseph Hospital's Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner (SAFE) program. Every participant, every donor, and every sponsor will be helping people in eastern Maine who require help from the hospital's SAFE nurses.

FAQ
FREE Parking will be available in the parking lot behind St. Joseph Hospital. Backup parking will be available at 12 Stillwater Avenue (please do not park in the parking spaces close to the building). This is just a short walk from Broadway Park.
Do NOT park along Broadway Park - the 5K and 10K will both finish on French Street, which runs along the edge of Broadway Park.
Yes, race-day registration will be avaialbe in Broadway Park starting at 7:30 AM.
10K Runners will Start and Finish on French St.
5K Walkers and Runners will Start in Broadway Park and Finish on French St.
Yes, there will be a water station on the Kenduskeag Steam Trail, at Husson University, and as you enter the Little City neighborhood for the last stretch to the finish line!
Yes, leashed dogs are allowed on the course and in Broadway Park.
Yes, porta-potties are avaialbe in Broadway Park.
