Once again, I’m proud to participate in The Plastic Surgery Foundation’s BRA 5K.

I register every year not simply because I work for The PSF, but because I truly believe in the mission behind this campaign: Every person diagnosed with breast cancer deserves to understand all of their options and have the information, resources, and support needed to pursue the outcome that is right for them.

There is no single right choice following a breast cancer diagnosis—but everyone deserves the opportunity to make an informed one. Through education, advocacy, and support, the Breast Reconstruction Awareness Campaign helps ensure that patients and their families know what options are available and feel empowered to decide what is best for their individual needs.
