Sari 5K Trail Run/Walk

Dear Family and Friends,

It has been 20 years (Oct 3rd, 2004) since I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I know you’ve heard me say, I was fortunate to have a great support system and resources, but many are not so lucky. Sari Center helps cancer patients and their loved ones regardless of type of cancer, stage or ability to pay. We help you navigate through your cancer journey improving quality of life, reducing pain and anxiety, lymphedema, nausea and other side effects and symptoms through proven therapies such as acupuncture, therapeutic massage, psychotherapy, education, nutrition counseling, guided meditation, yoga, etc. If we don’t provide a service at one of our two locations in WPB or in PBG, we refer out. It has been a tough year with the passing of Max’s girlfriend Carmen to Ewings Sarcoma on Sept 22nd. We are heartbroken. Carmen briefly received services at Sari Center. My nephew, Teddy, also lost his battle to a rare Sarcoma in 2021 at age 30. It is because of Carmen and Teddy, as well as the thousands I have witnessed benefit from Sari Center that I remain so dedicated to this incredible organization.
