I'm running the Broad St Run 10 miler for the first time and raising money for the Fairmount Park Conservancy, a local nonprofit that brings Philly parks to life. I'd be so appreciative if you could chip in and spread the word to your Philly friends to help throw in support towards my goal! Thank you so much!
Fairmount Park Conservancy is the nonprofit partner of Philadelphia Parks & Recreation dedicated to supporting and improving our city’s parks.
Did you know that 95% of Philadelphia residents live within 10 minutes of a park? The Conservancy works year-round to create and care for high-quality parks that promote public health, social connection, and environmental resilience. They do this through capital projects, historic preservation, park stewardship groups, volunteer projects, and unique programs and events.
OUR MISSION: Fairmount Park Conservancy brings parks to life. We work with the City of Philadelphia and its communities to steward our parks and nurture our shared environment, cultural resources and public health.
OUR VISION: We envision a vibrant, high-quality, and equitable Philadelphia park system for everyone.
OUR WORK: Fairmount Park Conservancy leads capital projects and historic preservation efforts, builds and restores forests and trails, develops and implements innovative public programs, and provides support and resources to 140 neighborhood parks and thousands of volunteers around the city.
