MORNING ACTIVITIES
6:30 AM — Parking Lots Open
Volunteers will be on hand to distribute parking passes. All designated parking lots are 0.3 miles or less from Registration.
6:30 AM — Packet Pick-Up & Onsite Registration Opens
7:45 AM — Warm-Up
Get ready to run with LeeAnn from Top Shape Fitness at the start line!
7:55 AM — Welcome & National Anthem
8:00 AM — 5K Start
The countdown begins!
Attention 5K Walkers: Chip timing will stop promptly at 9:20 AM.
8:05 AM — 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk
The Fun Run/Walk will begin after all chip-timed 5K runners and walkers have cleared the start line. Please wait for them to pass before beginning.
8:45 AM — 100-Meter Turtle Dash
The Turtle Dash starts a little later so 5K and Fun Run/Walk participants can cheer on their favorite little turtles!
Please - NO DOGS in the race or on the beach.
POST-RACE FESTIVITIES
8:30 AM–12:30 PM — LIVE MUSIC WITH NOFILTER
NoFilter has warmed up the sponsors and is ready to let the fun begin!
9:15–10:30 AM — FAMILY & KIDS FUN
Open to all children — no registration required!
- Sea oat planting with Roots & Shoots
- Games with Keep Pinellas Beautiful
- Fun giveaways
- Santa arrives at 9:30 AM! Bring the kids for a visit and a photo.
9:30–11:30 AM — TASTE OF TREASURE ISLAND
Race participants can enjoy delicious bites from local Treasure Island restaurants.

10:00 AM — AWARDS CEREMONY
Celebrate our race winners, including youth ages 14 and under and 80+, with awards presented in 5-year age increments.
10:15 AM — RAFFLE WINNERS ANNOUNCED
Be sure to stick around — you have to be present to win!
10:30 AM–12:30 PM — THE PARTY CONTINUES!
Keep the celebration going with NoFilter, dancing, photos with Santa, and family fun!
12:30 PM — THAT’S A WRAP!
COMPLIMENTARY RACE DAY PARKING
The City of Treasure Island and Towne Parking are generously providing complimentary parking for all Run for the Beaches participants and spectators!
- Parking fees will be waived from 6:30 AM – 12:30 PM
- Volunteers will distribute parking passes from 6:30 AM - 8:00 AM.
- You must display a parking pass on your dashboard — vehicles without a pass are subject to ticketing.

Lot 4 - TI City street parking
Lot 5 - TOWNE parking: Park Pl & 106th Ave (behind Ricky T’s)
Lot 6 - TOWNE parking: 121 107th Ave (East of GiGi’s)
Lot 7 - TOWNE parking: 10700 Gulf Blvd (Thunderbird)
To help ensure parking is available for everyone, CARPOOLING IS RECOMMENDED AND APPRECIATED. All parking lots are within .30 miles of Gulf Front Park.
