As you know I am passionate about ultra running and a man that I look up to in the running world is Tommy "Rivs" Puzey. Right now, he is fighting for his life against an aggressive form of cancer called NK/T-Cell Lymphoma. While Tommy is most well known for being an extraordinary, elite ultra runner, he has become equally well-known for his ability to share and connect with others on a genuine and vulnerable level - as a husband, a father of three girls, a son and brother as well as a driving force of inspiration around the globe.
For anyone who has experienced or known someone battling with T-Cell Lymphoma, it is not only aggressive but it is very expensive. Right now as his wife and family battle to keep him healthy, they are having trouble covering expenses. For this reason, the running community has come together to create a fundraising campaign called "Run With Rivs." Over the course of the week, I will be running 100 kilometers to raise money for Tommy Rivs and his family.
Any contribution you can make to this campaign would mean a lot to me, and I know his family will greatly appreciate it.
