After an outstanding inaugural event, RunSBY events is proud to bring the 2019 event lineup back to the City of Salisbury and Wicomico County. These races include a USATF certified marathon and half-marathon course (Salisbury Marathon, Salisbury Half Marathon) as well as a family-friendly 5k course on the last section of the longer runs. Our long courses start at the Salisbury City Park and travel on the back roads of Wicomico County before taking you under US Route 13 and on to the beautiful campus of Salisbury University. Your journey continues as both the full and half marathon courses are similar until the 10.8 mile mark, where you will split and continue your run.
Upon completion, an epic after party awaits you in Downtown Salisbury with lots of eateries, retail shops, LIVE MUSIC and fun for the kids. Stick around and cheer on the other competitors as they push each other for Boston Qualification, Record times and Personal Bests!!! With an 8 hour time limit on the marathon, this course is perfect for your first (but hopefully not LAST) marathon and we are a friendly course for our athletes with physical challenges.
Come see what all of the buzz is about. With aide stations every 1.5 miles and port-o-johns at every one of them, you will find this course is one of the best supported races on the East Coast. We learned from your input the on year one and this race is only going to get better and better. Check us out and see why we are quickly becoming one of the most talked about races in the area!!
