My story at RMHCA started with the Red Shoe Run. 9 years ago after participating in the run I was looking for ways to volunteer in my community. As a volunteer I fell in love with the mission and stayed on as a volunteer until a job was available. I've been a part of the staff for 7 years and my love for this mission continues to grow stronger. I always say that I hope families don't need our Ronald McDonald House but I'm so glad that we can be there for families during a very difficult time in their life. We provide hope and support so families don't have to face challenging medical moments with their child alone. We are stronger doing life together.
I don't physically run this race anymore because I'm part of the team behind the scenes. I do, however, run the marathon with our team each year to make sure we raise the $2.4 million dollars needed to keep our doors open for the families who need our Ronald McDonald House.
Today I'm asking you to get involved in a mission that means so much to me. If you have a child, you can relate to what our guest families go through, so please give from the heart. Any donation will help make an impact on the 73 families who call our Ronald McDonald House "HOME" each night.
Thank you for supporting the Ronald McDonald House mission and for keeping families together when they need it most.
