Do I have to be in or from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, South Carolina, Tennessee, etc. to participate in the Stadium to Stadium Challenge?
You can live anywhere! Anyone can participate in this challenge. You do not have to be in or from the route areas. You are not literally running/walking between stadiums. You complete your miles on your own course, your treadmill, your bike, your elliptical or your stair climber etc.
What if I am not a runner? Can I participate?
Of course! You can run, walk, hike, spin, move on a treadmill, stair stepper or elliptical. Just move!
You offer a lot of distances. Which distance should I enter?
Determine the number of miles you'd like to average per day over the duration of the Challenge. Account for days off. Think about your regular workout routine. Remember, you can count multiple activities in the same day be it running, walking, hiking, riding, etc.
75 Miles = 1 mile per day
150 Miles = 2 miles per day
188 Miles = 2 ½ miles per day
225 Miles = 3 miles per day
300 Miles = 4 miles per day
338 Miles = 4 ½ miles per day
375 Miles = 5 miles per day
450 Miles = 6 miles per day
488 Miles = 6 ½ miles per day
Can the miles I walked/ran before the official start count toward the challenge?
Your miles for the challenge start with your miles on September 26. You have until Dec. 31 to log your miles to complete the challenge, so start as soon as you can. You can even log miles multiple times during the day!
What if I need to change the distance of the challenge I registered for?
We understand things come up and you may not be able to complete miles you originally committed to OR have a surge of energy and realize you can complete a higher mileage challenge. As long as you contact us by email by October 15, we will be happy to make that switch for you at no additional cost. One consideration: if you change distances you will need to re-enter all of your logged activity as your activity will not transfer over to your new distance.
How do I record my miles?
Log your activity, mileage and time here. You can do it daily, twice a day, or you can do it once a week, whatever works for you. But we encourage you to log in after each activity to view your progress on the course map.
Do I need a GPS app like Map My Run or Strava? Will I need to show my watch or app for proof of activity?
An app or GPS watch is recommended, but certainly not required. There are a number of running apps that make it easier to track your time and mileage. If you don't have one, you can download a running app to an iPhone or Android device. Some apps available are Map My Run, RunKeeper, Runtastic, Strava. You can use an Apple Watch, FitBit, Garmin or other devices that track mileage and time. When it comes to logging your miles, you are on the honor system. You are in the Challenge to be active and achieve your goal mileage. There are no placement or age group awards.
If I am participating in another virtual race at the same time. Can I count those miles?
Absolutely! We love you are being so active!
When will I receive my swag?
Near the end of the Challenge in late November.
I live outside of the United States, can I participate?
Yes, you can absolutely participate. However, we ship to U.S. addresses only.
