Help Tell the Stories Behind Every Color
This volunteer will:
* be energetic and able to move around as needed to capture the best moments during the event
* enjoy photography and social media
* be comfortable approaching people for quick interviews
* have an eye for authentic, candid moments
* move throughout the event independently
* own a smartphone capable of capturing quality photos and video (professional camera welcome but not required)
* review, edit, and prepare the content for review along with a posting calendar with the Executive Director prior to posting, no later than August 1st.
This isn't just about taking photos—it's about capturing the heart of the event.
Throughout the morning, you'll move around the venue documenting the excitement, emotion, and community spirit through photos, short videos, and candid moments that will help us continue raising awareness about preventing HPV-related cancers.
What You'll Do
* Capture high-quality photos throughout the event
* Record short vertical videos for Instagram Reels, Facebook, and LinkedIn
* Interview participants, survivors, volunteers, sponsors, and families with simple questions such as:
* Why are you here today?
* What does this event mean to you?
* Who are you walking or running for?
* What would you tell someone about HPV prevention?
* Photograph sponsor booths, Wellness Row, Kids Dash, awards, and event activities
* Capture behind-the-scenes moments before, during, and after the race
* Gather content that can be shared for weeks following the event
Why It Matters
Every photo and every story helps spread our mission to end HPV-related cancers through education, advocacy, prevention, and patient support.
Your content will help us inspire others to get vaccinated, get screened, support patients, and join future events.
