St. Rita 5K & Fun Run for Education

The St. Rita 5K and Fun Run is back for its 20th annual running again offering both the 1K Fun Run* and the 5K main event!

COURSE INFORMATION
The course for 2024 will be a flat, fast out-and-back along Main Line Boulevard and Potomac Ave. in the Potomac Yard neighborhood of Alexandria. The Start/Finish line will be behind George Washington Middle School (enter via Mt. Vernon Ave.). It's a tree-lined course that should be sporting beautiful fall colors!

Bibs and t-shirts can be picked up on:

1.     Wednesday, October 30, 3:00-6:00pm at St. Rita School, 3801 Russell Rd, Alexandria (Note: Enter the ally after the Church building and drive into school parking lot.)

OR

2.     Friday, November 1, 4:00-7:00pm at St. Rita School, 3801 Russell Rd, Alexandria (Note: Enter the ally after the Church building and drive into school parking lot. Parking may become more sparse as we approach the end of packet pickup due to the All Saints Day mass schedule.)

OR

3.     Saturday, November 2, from 6:45-8am at the designated registration table. (See below for directions.) Onsite registration is available for anyone who hasn't yet signed up.

• AGE GROUPS: Top 2 Male & Female Finishers in each of the following age groups --> Gift Cards
  [15-19], [20-29], [30-39], [40-49], [50-59], [60-69], [70 and above]
• YOUTH: Top 3 Male & Female Finishers in following age groups --> Medals 
  [ 8 and under], [9-10], [11-12], [13-14]

TRANSPORTATION
Free parking is available.
Starting Line is steps away from Braddock Rd. Metro station (Yellow/Blue line).  

MISCELLANEOUS
*In order to keep the race running efficiently and on time, the 1K Fun Run will not use chip timing. Top finishers will still be recognized!
Strollers are welcome on the course.  

There will be no bag check at this 5K race.
