About Master Chief Jeffrey Perrone:
Team Jeff was created to honor the memory of Master Chief Jeffrey Perrone.
In July of 2022, Jeff was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer after his liver enzymes spiked and he went into organ failure. Semper Fi & America’s Fund was there for him and his wife, Angela, as he underwent treatment. In March of 2023, he entered palliative hospice care at the VA Hospital in Tampa. He died on the 18th of March, a week shy of his wedding anniversary and two weeks before his 42nd birthday.
Chief Perrone gave his entire adult life to our country. He should have been planning his retirement in the coming year. He had plans to go to college after he retired while his wife finished her doctorate. He was going to be the one moving to support her career this time. He looked forward to engaging in their shared love of historic reenactment and cosplay.
