Welcome to my fundraising page! I’m running the Hospital Hill 10K in support of Children’s Mercy and the incredible care they provide to children and families like ours.
Our son, Camden, has a rare genetic neurodevelopmental disorder called SYNGAP1-Related Disorder. As parents, you quickly learn how important it is to have access to specialists who not only understand complex conditions, but who also care deeply about the child behind the diagnosis. Children’s Mercy has been an important part of Camden’s journey, providing compassionate, expert care and giving our family hope for the future.
At Children’s Mercy, love truly is the driving force behind everything they do. It fuels groundbreaking research, innovative therapies, and the kind of family-centered care that changes lives. We are especially excited about their continued expansion and growing presence in Wichita, helping bring more specialized pediatric care closer to families across our region. For children like Camden, expanded access to multidisciplinary care can make a meaningful difference.
Now for my fundraising twist…
This was a bit of a last-minute decision and there’s only one week to go before race day, so I need your help. The first 15 people who donate $10 or more get to pick a song for my race-day playlist. Donate, then send me your song choice.
Yes, this system has flaws.
A $150 donation technically means you could control the entire playlist with the same song on repeat for the whole 10K. Honestly, that sounds terrible… but for a good cause, I’m willing to risk it.
