Southcoast Health Cancer Care Nicole Podkowa 5k

The Southcoast Health Cancer Care Nicole Podkowa 5k honors the memory of Nicole Podkowa. Nicole was an avid runner, mother of two, and the wife of Southcoast Health Physician John Podkowa. Nicole lost her battle with cancer in 2016. In her honor, Dr. Podkowa and his family established the Nicole Podkowa Patient & Caregiver Fund at Southcoast Health Cancer Care.  
  
Proceeds raised through this event will support the Nicole Podkowa Patient & Caregiver Fund. This unique fund supports patients being treated at the Southcoast Health Cancer Care and their families by providing assistance to help with utility payments, food, housing, transportation, cancer related supplies and other necessities. Your support allows our patients and their families to focus on what is most important - their battle against cancer.
