My name is Tristan Jass, and on December 8th, 2025, my life changed in a way I never expected.
What started as uncertainty and fear quickly became the fight of my life. Being told you have a brain tumor is something that stops time — everything suddenly feels fragile, overwhelming, and unknown. But in that moment, I made a decision: I wasn’t going to let fear define my story.
The surgery to remove my tumor was one of the hardest things I’ve ever faced. There were moments of doubt, moments where I didn’t know what the outcome would be, and moments where I had to rely completely on hope — hope in my doctors, hope in my family, hope in myself, and faith that I was not alone in this fight.
Through it all, my faith became an anchor. In the quiet moments, in the uncertainty, and in the fear, I found strength in believing there was a purpose greater than what I could see. Faith gave me peace when answers were unclear, and courage when the path ahead felt impossible.
But through it all, I also discovered something powerful: resilience. The human spirit is stronger than we think. Even in the darkest moments, there is light — in the people who stand beside you, in the strength you didn’t know you had, and in the belief that tomorrow can be better.
Today, I’m here not just because of medical skill, but because of research, innovation, and the dedication of those who refuse to give up on finding answers. Brain tumors affect so many lives, and every breakthrough starts with support.
That’s why I’m sharing my story.
This fundraiser isn’t just about me — it’s about everyone who has faced, is facing, or will face this battle. It’s about giving hope to families sitting in hospital rooms right now, waiting for answers. It’s about pushing research forward so that one day, no one has to hear the words “you have a brain tumor” without also hearing, “and we know exactly how to treat it.”
If my journey has taught me anything, it’s that even in the hardest moments, we have the power to make a difference — through hope, through faith, and through standing together.
Thank you for being part of this story. Thank you for believing in hope, in faith, in strength, and in a future where more lives are saved.
