I visited Safe Passage in 2019 with a mission team from Chapelwood UMC. We hand delivered 400 pairs of durable expandable sandals (The Shoe That Grows) that can protect a child's feet for up to 5 years. Although the students were out for Christmas break, Walter & Andriana were gracious hosts & gave us a tour of the facilities. I was so impressed with the mission, the vision, the quality of the facilities & the values promoted by the school. Safe Passage is a beacon of care, education, dignity and hope amid the disease infested City Dump, which we could see through the chain-link fence. No family should have to pick through the trash to get by. Let's help these kids earn a brighter & healthier future.
