About Our Race

This race is in honor of our beloved Holly Rose who lost her battle with breast cancer on July 29, 2016.  Her beautiful smile and personality, contagious laugh and giving heart are missed every day by her family and friends. Holly loved running and was a teacher who was fluent in Spanish and enjoyed playing the flute.  She touched so many lives through her work and her daily life. Money from this race is used to provide scholarships for Monroe High School students pursuing a degree in the field of elementary education, spanish and music.

Our race is held annually the last weekend of July each year.  Please join us on July 26th, 2025!
