Wakefield UMC is participating in Note in the Pocket 12th Annual Socks & Undie 5K Rundie!
There are homeless children in Wake County. There are whole families living in homeless camps and shelters. There are working families with housing but little to no money left for food and clothes. Note in the Pocket provides quality clothing to impoverished and homeless children and families in our community. Note in the Pocket believes that it is unacceptable that children are limited in their educational and social development because they do not have appropriate clothes for school. Through our partnerships with schools, agencies, individuals, businesses and foundations, they clothe children with dignity and love.
