I am participating in a race for Mitzvah Circle, a non-profit organization that provides basic necessities for local families in crisis due to poverty, homelessness, and serious illness. It is the only organization in the area that provides material support for the entire family. They deliver care packages containing items such as clothes, shoes, diapers, toiletries, school supplies, baby gear, books, and so much more.
