Hello friends and Family,
I'll be climbing the TD Garden stairs at the 9th Annual BFit Challenge in January to benefit the lives of active and retired Navy SEAL and Naval Special Warfare Operatives and their families(more info below), where 100% of the money raised goes towards the charity! Any donation is appreciated to help us provide the treatment and support these operators and their families need!
Thank you for your support!
Climb to Support the Warrior for Life Fund
Patrice Bergeron will Captain a team of retired Navy SEALs, active duty Naval Special Warfare, former Bruins Andrew Alberts, Mark Mowers, Frank Simonetti, and others to support the Warrior for Life Fund.
The Warrior for Life Fund focuses support to active duty, veterans, and their families through sport and community as they navigate the unique challenges of combat deployments and life after service. Utilizing an evidence based and informed approach, WFLF creates an enduring environment of fellowship, fitness, and mental/cognitive health improvement that has lasting impact to its members.
The Warrior for Life Fund was founded in 2012 as a therapeutic hockey program to help Navy SEALs decompress and reacclimate between deployments during the Global War on Terror. The importance of this program drew in and engaged Boston Bruins and NHL Alumni involvement, leading to a partnership with the National Hockey League.
