Brought to you by Sun Multisport Events producers of the Barn to Run Trail Race Series, the Barn to Run Winter Challenge is a virtual event that invites you to start 2022 with a 5k or 10k run, walk or hike on January 1st... OR, for a goal that motivates you through the month, the option to run, walk or hike 26.2, 50 or 100 miles between January 1st and January 31st. Sign up for the month-long challenge and you'll be able to log your activity on the Results page throughout the month as you move closer and closer to achieving your distance goal. 

Because this is a virtual event, how you do it (run, walk or hike), where you do it (on the road, the trails, a treadmill) and when you do it (within the designated period) is all up to you! No matter what event you choose, the price is the same... and so is the swag!

Register by Christmas Day, Saturday, 12/25/21, and your swag will be in the mail by Monday, December 27th. Register after that date and your swag will be delivered no later than the end of January.


Upload your time (optional) and distance to the Results page of the Barn to Run Winter Challenge page on RunSignUp here (or click the "Results" tab at the top of this page).  After registering, select the event you’re signed up for, search on your name, log in and then post your activity. The results submissions period begins on January 1st so you will not be able to complete this process prior to then.

If you’re doing the 5k or 10k on January 1st upload your results when you are done (technically, you have until January 31st to add them, but why wait?). If you’re participating in the 26.2, 50 or 100 mile challenge, you should add your run, walk or hike distance and time after each session and the RunSignUp system will keep track of your progress.

The Zelus Beer Company is a sponsor of the Barn to Run Winter Challenge and together with Zelus we'll host a social gathering at the Zelus tap room in Medfield, MA on Saturday, February 5th, 4pm-7pm, for all Winter Challenge participants. Toast achievement of your January goal with a Zelus beer! The first 25 people will receive a complimentary Zelus pint courtesy of the Barn to Run Trail Race Series. There will be giveaways, food and more! Additional details to come including a link to RSVP.


Register for the Barn to Run Winter Challenge and your confirmation email will include your personal referral URL for you to share with friends and family through email or on social media. A $15 refund will automatically be applied to your registration for every 3 people that register for this challenge It that use that URL. It's that easy!
