Katz JCC POWR 5K/1 Mile Walk for Parkinson's

I am volunteering to raise funds for the Parkinson's Connection at the Katz JCC. Since 2018, the Parkinson’s Connection at the Katz JCC has offered fitness classes and support groups for people with Parkinson's Disease as well as their caregivers and families. The hope was to build a program that was as accessible as possible. 

• Accessible financially with free as well as paid class offerings
• Accessible physically with class options offered virtually over Zoom as well as in-person at the Katz JCC.
• Accessible functionally with classes offered at a wide variety of levels, seated or standing (or a little bit of both) so that those at nearly any level of Parkinson’s can participate. 
• Most importantly, accessible EVERY DAY, with classes offered six days a week and a virtual library accessible 24/7. 

I am very proud to teach yoga to people with Parkinson's and the entire staff of coaches work every day to make sure that no member fights Parkinson’s disease alone.
