Setting up an Affiliate

To set up your affiliation with RunSignup,

1. Go to the Affiliate page and click Create New Affiliation under the General heading.
2. Enter a descriptive name for your affiliate, such as your website name.
3. Enter in a payment address where we should send your checks.
4. Click the Save button.

Accessing Affiliate Information

1. All of your affiliates will be listed on the Affiliate page.
2. Click on the Affiliate Information link under the appropriate affiliate.

Updating Affiliate Information

To update information your affiliation with RunSignup,

1. Follow the steps for Accessing Affiliate Information.
2. Click the Update Info button under your affiliate information.
3. Update your information and click the Save button.

Linking to RunSignup Races

Affiliates will be credited with directing users to a race if they provide links to:

• Race Page
• Race Registration Page
• Race Donation Page
• Race Store Page

You can get links to these pages by visiting the race on our website and copying the URL. Additionally, you can use the RunSignup API to get a list of races, which will include a link to the Race Page. When linking to our pages, you will need to add the aflt_token parameter to the URL. Your link URL might look like https://www.runsignup.com/Race/NJ/Moorestown/ScottCoffeeMoorestownRotary8KRace?aflt_token=XXXXX. You will need to replace XXXXX with your affiliate token, which can be found on the Affiliate Information page.

Using the RunSignup Widget

Go to the Affiliate page and click the Race Widget link under the appropriate affiliate. From this page, you will be able to customize the widget, then copy and paste the widget code onto your webpage.

Viewing Basic Financial Reporting

To view basic reporting information about your affiliation with RunSignup, go to the Affiliate page and click the Reports link under the appropriate affiliate. This report shows the total profit you have made and a summary of payments. From here, you can drill down into transactions and payments.

Accessing the RunSignup API

To access the RunSignup API,

1. Go to the Affiliate page and click the API Access link under the appropriate affiliate.
2. Your API key and API secret are listed on this page.
3. Click the API Documentation link to get more information on using the RunSignup API.
