A high school base building and strength & conditioning for distance runners for Winter training going into the Spring Track season. The runner's training will focus on building their aerobic ability, basic speed, and specific strength to prepare for their best running ahead.

Perfect for the high school runner looking to make big improvements over the summer months for their Fall Cross Country Season. Join us for 8 weeks of summer coaching, aimed at building a good mileage base and getting stronger. We will meet two times each week and runners will be supplied with a training program to follow throughout the Summer months.
What to Expect
Come prepared to learn and run! Each session will be 90 minutes long and include the following activities:
- Teaching Lesson (training schedule building, basics of endurance training, basics of strength and conditioning, injury prevention, and racing strategy)
- Warmup (including jogging, plyometric, dynamic exercises)
- Progressive Basic Speed/Stamina Training
- Strength Work
* Runners are expected to provide their own transportation to and from training.
