Description

A high school base building and strength and conditioning for distance runners for the 2017 track season. The runner's training will focus on building their aerobic capacity, basic speed, and specific strength to prepare for their best track season ahead.

Membership Levels

Winter HS Running Camp

 

  • Time/Location:

3:30pm to 5:00pm on Tuesdays at Park Hill South High School for 7 weeks (January 10, 2017 to February 21, 2017)

 

  • What to Expect:

Come prepared to learn and run! Each session will be 90 minutes long and include the following activities:

 - Teaching Lesson (training schedule building, basics of endurance training, basics of strength and conditioning, injury prevention, and racing strategy)
 - Warmup (including jogging, plyometric, dynamic exercises)
 - Progressive Basic Speed/Stamina Training
 - Strength Work
* Runners are expected to provide their own transportation to and from training.
