Once the local lake water temperatures get to the point of being able the comfortably being able to swim in them, our members start meeting on a regular basis. ALL levels welcome! Group bike training, run training and open water swims when warmer (weather permitting).
Saturdays 7am (schedule varies between the Palo Lake swim beach or McBride Lake swim beach) are a "triathlon brick day" - swim in the regular swim area a distance you are comfortable with (many go 1200 yards), bike up 20 miles (waiting every 5 miles to regroup), and run a distance you are comfortable with (members go from 2 to 6 miles).
Sundays 8am long bike ride - 30 to 60 miles (or your choice),
Mondays bike from Sokol Park, generally 5:00 PM to Lake McBride--33 miles (or your choice)
Tuesday run from Thomas Park Trail at 8:00 AM (your choice of distance and pace)
Wednesdays 530pm bike ride - 29 miles (or your choice) on CVNT from Boyson to Center Point,
Thursdays 530pm 3 to 6 mile run (or your choice) from NewBo Market - Meet Me At The Market..Visit http://newbocitymarket.org/team/meet-me-at-the-market/
