Group Training Activities is updated regularly at www.MWXtri.com - then Group Training button.

Once the local lake water temperatures get to the point of being able the comfortably being able to swim in them, our members start meeting on a regular basis.  ALL levels welcome!  Group bike training, run training and open water swims when warmer (weather permitting).

Saturdays 730am (schedule varies between the Palo Lake swim beach or McBride Lake swim beach) are a "triathlon brick day" - swim in the regular swim area a distance you are comfortable with (many go 1200 yards), bike up 20 miles (waiting every 5 miles to regroup), and run a distance you are comfortable with (members go from 2 to 6 miles). 

Wednesdays 530pm bike ride - 29 miles (or your choice) on CVNT from Boyson Parking area to Center Point,

Thursdays 530pm - Palo Open Water Swim - swim across Palo Lake and back.  Your choice of distance - from 1200 to 2000 yards

We make training FUN, always better with a group of like minded athletes !!
