May 27, 2023 TRI Clear Lake ; Clear Lake State Park Beach ; Clear Lake, Iowa ; 800am time trial start - limited to 750 participants; Sprint Triathlon 750 meter Swim, 12.4 mile Bike, 3.1 mile Run. Olympic Distance: 1,500 meter swim, 24.8-mile bike, and 6.2-mile run (Heart of America Series) (USAT)

June 4, 2023, Pigman Sprint and Olympic Triathlon is one of our club's most popularly attended races! ; MWX is proud to be a sponsor and many members volunteer in the MWX after race Food Tent.  Pleasant Creek State Recreation Area (Palo, IA) ; 730am age group time trial starts, this event sells out very quickly - limited to 750 participants Sprint distance is .5K swim, 25K bike and 5K run; Olympic distance is 1-mile swim, 26-mile bike, and 10K run.  (Heart of America Series) (USAT) This event also includes an Aquabike and a Duathlon competition!
We've transitioned from having a MWX Pigout BBQ Party to being a food tent sponsor for MWX and all Pigman participants. Its an amazing time for all of out triathlon families to get to know each other.

QC is Back!!  June 17 2023, Quad Cites Sprint Triathlon ; The DNR has completed the lake restoration work and we are ready to tri !!. Davenport, IA at West Lake Park ; 700am time trial starts ; 600 yard swim, 15 mile bike, 3.1 mile run. (Heart of America Series)

June 11, 2023, Des Moines Ironman 70.3 Triathlon ; Des Moines, IA; 700am starts ; 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, 13.1 mile run.  The Midwest Xtreme Triathlon Club placed 5th overall in 2021.  When you register (and edit your existing registration) - make sure you say you are on the "Midwest Xtreme Triathlon Club...

June 25, 2023, Ames Sprint Triathlon ; Ames, IA at Ada Hayden Park ; 800am time trial starts ; 500 meter swim, 15.5 mile bike, 3.1 mile run. (Heart of America Series) (USAT)  This event also includes a Relay, ParaTriathlon, Aquabike and a Duathlon competition!

August 13, 2023, Camp Courageous Sprint Triathlon is at Camp Courageous.  The event returns to the camp for the first time in years, taking it “closer to the cause”. 800 am time trial starts ; 400 yard swim, 15.5 mile bike, 4K run. (Heart of America Series)

TBD for 2023 , Bluff Creek Triathlon ; The DNR is going through lake restorations at Don Williams Park, Boone, IA ; 800am wave starts, Sprint Distance: 500 Meter Swim, 15 Mile Bike, 5k Run, Olympic Distance: 1,500 Meter Swim, 24.8 Mile Bike, 10k Run - limited to 500 participants.  (Heart of America Series) (USAT)

August 27, 2023, Hero Hustle Sprint Triathlon, Schram Pond, Manchester, IA; 900am wave start; 400yd swim, 16-mile bike ride, and a 5K run to wrap it up.  Proceeds go to local fire stations
