OUR MISSION: The San Antonio RoadRunners promote health and fitness in San Antonio by sponsoring training, fun runs, and races throughout the year. With over 1200 members, we are still growing and we're excited to help you get in shape along with us!
Since 1973 SARR has served the running, jogging, and walking community of South Texas. Now is a great time to join our club and make it your club. Membership benefits include:
RACES: starting in 2019, current SARR members will receive 25% off SARR races when registering online during the early registration window (no other discounts apply). Members are also invited to join us at our annual Picnic and 5K Fun Run in June and our Member and Volunteer Appreciation Party and 5K Fun Run in December
TRAINING: Our nationally award-winning training programs have helped thousands of local runners learn to run better, meet new friends, and explore the many different trails and courses the city has to offer. Our group training programs help runners of all abilities, from beginners to advanced – we offer a place for every pace.
FUN RUNS: On the first Saturday of the month at 8:30 am in McAllister Park at the Al Becken Pavilion, SARR holds a Fun Run and a Kids Run. Bring your family and run for fun or run for speed work.
MEETUPS: Want to find other runners to run with? The San Antonio RoadRunners have an active meet-up page that lists weekly runs. Come run with us and meet other San Antonio runners.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH: The San Antonio RoadRunners have an active Community Outreach Program that partners with local non-profit organizations that align with the club’s purpose to promote and encourage interest in improved physical fitness in the local community through running.
SAVINGS: Discounts at many local running stores (ask at store counter).
CLUB MEETINGS: You are invited to join us at our monthly club meetings to discuss SARR projects, races, and the future of your running club. Your voice counts - all members are welcome to attend and you'll never meet a friendlier group of runners. Meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month, 7:00 pm at Academy Sports & Outdoors, located at 4071 North Loop 1604 West, near the intersection of Loop 1604 and NW Military Highway. (map)
