A Holy Week Virtual 5K
Holy Week is a time meant to keep our heart focused on Jesus. On Palm Sunday, Jesus arrived in Jerusalem with shouts of Hosanna. By Friday, the shouts changed to "Crucify him." Jesus died so we could live, and three days later, He arose! We celebrate our Risen Savior with this 5K to step away from the noise of the world and bring families, friends, walkers, hikers, and runners together - no matter where you are. With this virtual 5K, you choose the time and the place. Log miles in your own city, on roads, trails, around your neighborhood, or even on a treadmill. Walk, hike or run your 5K between Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday (March 29 - April 5, 2026), then submit your results.

Hand-Crafted Medals
Every He Is Risen Virtual 5K participant will receive a hand-crafted finisher medal! Each cross-shaped medal is hand carved from olive wood. And each medal carries it's own unique wood grain pattern, representing each participant and how God beautifully formed each one of us.
Each medal is shipped with the adjustable black necklace cord, but can easily be changed out to the white race ribbon (also included). Cross Dimensions: 2.56"L x 1.54"W

Swag and Merch
Every He Is Risen Virtual 5K participant along with their medal, will receive some awesome swag.
- Every registered participant receives an inspirational silicone bracelet imprinted with an encouraging scripture verse.
- Every registered participant will also get a colorful, breathable neck gaiter. Great to wear in all seasons.
Every participant will also receive (via e-mail) an 8-day downloadable and printer-friendly devotional e-book that focuses on the "I Am" statements of Jesus found in the New Testament book of John. Each day there is a scripture, devotional, prayer and prompt to help keep our heart and mind fixed on Jesus as we reflect on His death and rejoice that He is risen!
Note: There will be NO age group or male/female specific awards given within the categories for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place. Only the top three overall finishers will receive a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place award. Medals and other gear/swag will be mailed out after the run is complete. If you live local to the Americus, Georgia area, there will be an opportunity to pick up all your gear - date, time and location to be determined.
