Annapolis 10 Mile Run

The Annapolis Ten Mile Run is a 10-mile foot race organized by the Annapolis Striders, Inc., a 1000 member, all volunteer, non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization, established in 1978, in Annapolis Maryland that promotes physical fitness and mental well-being through distance running. The race is conducted according to the road racing guidelines of the Road Runners Club of America.
The race has been listed as one of the top ten 10-mile races in the country by Runner’s World Magazine. It is a beautiful run through historic Annapolis and over the Severn River.
B&A Trail Marathon and Half Marathon

The B&A Trail Marathon & Half-Marathon is a fast, fun, well-supported, and low-pressure event along the B&A Trail. The Annapolis Striders held the first B&A Trail Marathon in 1992 and added the half marathon in 1996.
Championship Series Races
Valentine's 5K

Originally known as the Valentine’s Twesome Relay, this race was merged with the Washington’s Birthday 5k to become the Valentine’s 5K. It is the first race of the Annapolis Striders Championship Series for the calendar year and is typically held the second weekend of February at Kinder Farm Park.
Cherry Pit 10 Mile Race

The Cherry Pit 10 Mile Race is the second race of the Championship Series, typically held the first or second weekend of April. This race is an alternative to the Cherry Blossom 10-Miler in Washington, D.C.
Dawson's Father's Day 10K

The Dawson’s Father’s Day 10K is the third race of the Championship Series held on Father’s Day each year. The course is out-and-back mostly along the B&A Trail.
John Wall Memorial One Mile Track Run

Dog Days 8K Cross Country Run

The Dog Days Cross Country Run, the fifth leg of the Championship Series, is held the first Sunday in August. The race utilizes the Earl Scott Trail, named after the former AACC groundskeeper, longtime member of the Annapolis Striders and Dog Days Race Director.
Metric Marathon

The Metric Marathon, the sixth race of the Championship Series, is held the first weekend of October. The race features a scenic 26.2-kilometer (16.28-mile) course through Harwood area of Southern Anne Arundel County.
Downs Park 5 Miler

The Down’s Park 5 Mile Run, originally the Hogneck Scamper, is a loop course on paved trails within John H. Down’s Memorial Park. The scenic course winds through the woods with gorgeous views of the Chesapeake Bay. This race is the sixth race of the Championship Series.
Anniversary Run 15K

The Anniversary Run 15k is the last race of the Championship Series to commemorate the founding of the Annapolis Striders. Originally run at the end of December at the Naval Academy, it is now held the second weekend of December on the trails of Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis. The race is typically free for Annapolis Striders members who register before race day.
