Description:
A trail run for trail runners by trail runners, the Looney Leprechaun takes place within historic Tyler State Park. Beautiful trails, waterways, and paths are nestled in its original farm and woodland setting. Thanks to a diversity of habitats, be on the lookout for foxes, deer, beavers, racoons, and rabbits. Traverse across the longest covered bridge in Bucks County while taking in breathtaking views of the surrounding county.
Typically occurring the weekend prior to St Patrick’s day, this race has seen its share of rain, ice, sleet, and snow. While the trails are not difficult, some areas do require your full attention. The course is not flat, but the trails are forgiving. Seasoned runners will be challenged while those new to the sport will still find it accessible.
