Castro Valley Pride  Castro Valley Pride’s purpose is to create a safe and welcoming space for the LGBTQ members of our shared community.   

Emeryville Pride  Featuring an outdoor carnival-themed festival, filled with queer joy and engagement.

Oakland Pride  Celebrating the cultures and diversity of the LGBTQ community in Oakland and the East Bay, and dedicated to educating the greater community, promoting equality, civic involvement and responsibility.

Richmond Rainbow Pride  A celebration of freedom, dignity, equality rights, strengthened community, diverse sexuality, and gender variance.

Running for a Better Oakland  A non-profit organization that encourages K–12 Oakland students to develop healthy lifestyles through running by providing training and encouragement.

 

BayLands FrontRunners  BayLands is a primarily LGBT running and walking club based in Palo Alto. BayLands wants you to have an enjoyable time in great company. 

Lake Merritt Run Club  A volunteer-based, nonprofit running club that supports our diverse running community through training, races, social engagement, and outreach.

Oakland Beer Runners  Oakland Beer Runners is for people who want to go on casual runs (2 to 6 miles) and want to connect with people who enjoy running and beer. They are carrying on the legacy of East Bay Beer Runners.

Oakland Marathon  Launched in 2010, this event features a half-marathon, 10K, 5K, and kids run, in addition to the full marathon. Experience Oakland’s diversity and beauty with a race that touches all aspects of Oaktown.

Sacramento FrontRunners and FrontWalkers   A running and walking club for individuals who identify as LGBTQ+, and allies, that embraces runners and walkers of all paces, ages, and skill levels.

San Francisco FrontRunners  The founding chapter (1974) of a worldwide network of LGBTQIA+ running and walking clubs, welcoming everyone of all abilities.

Team San Francisco  Working to promote, support, and encourage LGBTQ+ people and allies to participate in sports and cultural activities within the San Francisco Bay Area and worldwide, with special emphasis on supporting the quadrennial Gay Games.

Federation of Gay Games  Promoting equality, diversity and inclusion through sport and culture. The Gay Games is built upon the core principles of Participation, Inclusion, and Personal Best™. Open to all, young or old, athlete or artist, experienced or novice, gay or straight.

International Front Runners  An affiliation of LGBTQ+ running and walking clubs that have organized in many of the larger cities around the world. There are over 100 Front Runners clubs on five continents.

Road Runners Club of America  Championing the development and success of community-based running organizations that empower all people to participate in the sport of running in pursuit of enjoyment, health, well-being and competition.

Brooks Running  Brooks celebrates all who run and all who love. Brooks believes running is the most inclusive sport, which is why they partner with Front Runners, a running club that promotes inclusivity and the LGBTQ+ community.
