EBFRW Pride Run & Walk

2026 PRIDE RUN & WALK

EBFRW’s 22nd Annual Pride Run and Walk kicked off from a new, bright and expansive location, which gave everyone room to stretch out and prepare for running and walking in ideal fall weather. 143 participants completed the 5K and 10K events that featured Grand Marshal Ms. Sweet Nothing, and the energetic participation of student athletes from Running for a Better Oakland and the Bentley School. We were excited to award age group top finisher ribbons for the first time, and raffle off great prizes from the Oakland Ballers, Oakland Marathon, Sports Basement, JARS gourmet desserts, and January Shoes.

2024 PRIDE RUN & WALK

While rain threatened early in the morning, October 12, 2024, turned out to be a perfect day in Oakland for EBFRW’s 20th Annual Pride Run and Walk. 190 runners and walkers completed the event, and some were fortunate enough to take home raffle prizes including Oakland Ballers and Oakland Roots tickets, and REI gift cards. This year's 5K run had the special distinction of being named RRCA's State Championship Event for that distance.
