Community Giving and Grants:

Mission Statement: The mission of the FCRC Community Grants Committee is to foster a healthier community and a love of running by administering monetary grants on a rolling basis for schools other running-related programs in Northern Colorado.

Outreach Committee: 

Mission Statement: The purpose of the Outreach Committee is to promote outreach for all runners (both club members and potential club members). If you are a person who wants to run, then we want to make you feel welcome! Our goal is to focus on community building as we have collectively realized through interactions with our members that most people who choose to join the club do this as a way to meet other people and pursue social opportunities.

Race Management:   

Mission Statement: The Race Management Committee exists to help support club-owned races. As of 2022, the club owns the Horsetooth Half Marathon, the FireKracker 5k, the Resolution Run, the Tortoise and Hare series, and the NoCo All- Comers Track Meet Series. We collaborate with the race directors to make sure the races run smoothly and are profitable enough to support the Club’s programs. In addition, we strive to provide the FCRC members and our community with an enjoyable and competitive race experience at a reasonable price.

Race Sponsorships: 

Mission Statement: Giving back to the community and charitable organizations by supporting local races through monetary sponsorships and promotion, while offering discounts to the Fort Collins Running Club members.

Marketing:

Mission Statement: To advertise the Fort Collins Running Club and the benefits it offers using a variety of platforms and tactics.

Running U:

Mission Statement: To promote the benefits of running and provide education and resources to individuals of all levels and abilities to help them achieve their running goals. We are committed to providing accessible and inclusive resources which prioritize proper training and injury prevention for lifelong running.

Social: 

Mission Statement: To engage the local running community in fun experiences that allow for interaction outside of the regular group run/race dynamic. This includes hosting activities, providing pizzazz to regular events, and welcoming creativity to expand the club’s scope of running-related enjoyment.

Youth Running:

Mission Statement:  To serve as the central hub for youth running in Northern Colorado, connecting and supporting programs to expand their reach and impact. We aim to provide every child with the opportunity to experience the joy, passion, and camaraderie of running, fostering a lifelong love for fitness and community.
