About the Friends
Friends of the Johnson Public Library is an independent 501(c)(3) organization whose primary purpose is to support and advocate for the library’s mission as the community’s destination for discovery, learning, and making connections, through Fundraising, Advocacy, and Volunteer Work. Our next events:
Our next event is a Sunset Eco-Cruise @ 6PM on Mon., 6/24 in the Meadowlands with the Hackensack Riverkeeper. The event is limited to the first 20 people who sign up, because that is all the two boats hold. The cost is $300 per boat, so we are keeping the per person cost at $30 to encourage participation by the Friends. |
The Riverkeeper's Eco-Cruises are fully narrated environmental education tours – and the BEST way to explore the Hackensack River, the marshes of the Meadowlands, and Newark Bay. Join us aboard their big, comfortable pontoon boats Robert H. Boyle II and Geraldine Theresa for a unique, informative, and FUN time on the water!
