In spring of 2023, I had the great pleasure of meeting Mark through the LiveStrong program at the YMCA. We hit it off right away.
My new friend Mark was diagnosed with prostate cancer in January 2022. After moving back home to Neenah from Florida in August 2022, he and I became active in the Sole Burner 5K Run/Walk, which he completed in May 2023. Mark was one of the top individual fundraisers.
Our journey together came to an end when Mark passed in November. It is with great honor that we carry on Mykels Miles for Smiles in Mark's name this year. Please consider a donation in honor of our beloved son, father, uncle, husband, and friend.

Taking part in this event gives me the chance to make a difference and honor those touched by cancer by raising funds for groundbreaking research and services for people dealing with cancer.
