Back in Janaury 2022, our whole family fell ill with Covid. Our then 11 year old son James never recovered from the sickness and only continued to become worse by the day. Eventually he couldn't walk, sleep or keep food down. To find the answers to his demise we had to travel to C-town...that is, he was diagnosed with cancer. After a very tough battle in C-town, Super James came home battered and exhausted, but ready to rebuild and reform a new life! But James didn't conquer C-town alone. He had so many warriors praying for him and giving him the strength and courage to battle on. A lot of those warriors were at Holy Spirit School, where he is in his last year and will graduate soon. Therefore, we wanted to honor all those who prayed, made meals, sent cards and gifts, and joined the Super James Team for victory! Welcome to our Team Page. We've formed this team because cancer has touched all of us in some way. And we want to stop this disease in its tracks. We'll spend the next few weeks fundraising for the American Cancer Society. Then, on the day of the event, we’ll honor the lives lost to cancer, celebrate survivors, and support the caregivers who so selflessly help others.
The money our team raises helps the American Cancer Society in so many ways. It's helping fund innovative research. It's providing free information for people dealing with the disease. It's providing rides to treatment and places to stay for people who have to seek treatment far from home. In short, our money is helping save lives.
