Paws With A Cause (PAWS) transforms lives and strengthens communities through partnerships with custom-trained working dogs. Since 1979, PAWS has helped individuals with disabilities gain greater independence, confidence, and safety through assistance dogs trained to meet their unique needs. PAWS also places facility dogs in schools, hospitals, counseling centers, and other community settings where they provide comfort and support in moments when it's needed most.

Every PAWS dog is provided at no cost to the client, making community support essential. Funds raised for PAWS help cover puppy development, veterinary care, professional training, placement services, and lifelong follow-up support. With an average investment of $60,000 to raise, train, and place a working dog, every fundraiser helps create life-changing partnerships that strengthen individuals, families, and communities across Michigan and beyond.
