Teal Power 5K Run and 3K Walk

After eight years of symptoms and trying to determine why I was feeling terrible I had a diagnostic lap and they determined it was Ovarian Cancer.  On March 21, 2024 I had a major surgery removing organs, part of my colon and scraping cancer off of the majority of my abdomen.  At 40 years old I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Low-Grade Serous Ovarian Carcinoma.  The love and support I have received since I was diagnosed has been nothing short of amazing but I know not all women have that level of support through their ovarian cancer journey.

I want to raise money to help provide support to those newly diagnosed and in need and to continue research around the disease so other women don't have to have symptoms as long as I did before they are diagnosed and we can find more accurate ways to diagnose Ovarian Cancer!
