Thank you for visiting my ICA fundraising page!
I am breaking the silence on IC/BPS and am counting on you for your support.
This spring, I am participating in the ICA's first-ever Spring into Summer Self-Care Adventure to support the important work of the ICA: The Interstitial Cystitis Association. Today, I am asking for your help.
IC/BPS is a chronic pain disease that is not well known by the public or even healthcare practitioners, yet millions of Americans suffer from it. The primary symptom of IC/BPS is excruciating bladder pain, and secondary symptoms include urinary urgency and frequency. Many patients suffer for years without a diagnosis and miss the opportunity to make important lifestyle changes that provide relief.
The reason I support the ICA is simple. The ICA advocates for research dedicated to discovery of a cure and better treatments, raises awareness, advocates for research on Capitol Hill and serves as a central hub for the healthcare providers, researchers and millions of patients who suffer with constant urinary urgency and frequency and extreme bladder pain called IC, or interstitial cystitis. When you support me with a donation, you’re helping an organization that is very important to me.
The ICA is the only non-profit charitable organization dedicated solely to improving the quality of healthcare and lives of people living with interstitial cystitis/bladder pain syndrome (IC/BPS).
I hope you'll join me in the fight against IC/BPS, either by joining the challenge yourself and raising awareness...or by simply making a donation to help me reach my goal. Helping me reach my fundraising goal will take just a few minutes and just a few dollars. No gift is too big or too small!
Thank you for helping me to make a difference in the lives of the 4 to 12 million people in the US living with this condition.
The Interstitial Cystitis Association is a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit corporation with federal EIN# 13-3292137. Contributions are tax-deductible as described by law.
