The Cambridge Fire Company was founded in 1950 and provides fire protection and heavy rescue services to the Town of Cambridge, Jeffersonville, Fletcher, and Smuggler's Notch Resort. The population of our jurisdiction fluctuates between 5,000 and 20,000 people. The department is composed of 30+ volunteer members, 5 pieces of apparatus, and some of the most advanced fire and rescue equipment available. Members have a combined total of over 400 years of firefighting experience and are required to have a minimum of FF1, Hazmat Operations, Wildland Firerfighting, and CPR/AED/First Aid certifications, however many are FF2 and EMTs as well!
