Have fun while raising money for kids in medical crisis and awareness for organizations who help them thrive! We will honor our forever 12-year old inspiration, Addi Carroll 15A1 and Essex Fire, by having Addi's Engine start the race and with a finish line mascot dance party! There's something for everyone!

Run, Walk & Roll:

• 1.2k flat asphalt course for those who are rolling or have difficulty with distances and grade changes.

The Big Beautiful Life Family provides comfort, community and resources to children in chronic medical crisis in memory of everyone's child, Addi 15A1. Addi had an Indomitable Spirit and Relentlessly lived a Big Beautiful Life filled with joy despite her cruel, progressive & complex mystery disease. She never acknowledged her life was hard. Not Once. She never met a stranger and,  living more life in 12 short years than most people live in a longer lifetime, she brought people together and inspired them to believe in possibilities. Now that her medical battle is done and she is free of pain, she leaves everyone her life has touched committed to continuing her important work.

Addi 15A1 found her purpose in fire service and is a beloved Lifetime Member  and Honorary Chief of the Essex Fire Department Family. She tracked all calls and was happiest when she was near “my firefighters” or heard that they were safe back in quarters. Just like Addi, Essex Fire's Addi’s Engine (Engine 2) is all wheel drive and takes anything life has to throw at it. Addi’s Engine symbolizes courage, devotion and resilience and reminds people to take care of each other. It will keep our community and Addi’s fire brothers & sisters safe for years to come.

The Essex Fire Department is a paid on-call volunteer fire department providing fire protection and emergency medical first response services.

Since 1997 802 Timing has provided sports timing services, database and meet management for Cross-Country Running Meets, Road Races, Track & Field Meets, Cycling Races, Triathlons and other sporting events.
