I've been volunteering for Adaptive Adventures, who helps people with disabilities do sports such as cycling, climbing, boating and skiing for about nine years now. Join us on our journey as we take on the Crank Around The Clock, a 12-Hour Cycling Challenge, all in support of the incredible local nonprofit organization, Adaptive Adventures. On Saturday, September 28th, as a team we will be hitting the road from 6am to 6pm, striving to complete as many laps of a 13.2 mile loop as I can.
This challenge isn't just about the thrill of cycling—it's about making a meaningful impact. By supporting individuals with disabilities, we're giving them the opportunity to experience the independence, freedom, joy, and exhilaration that outdoor recreation brings.
